Basic Combinations

• Pair (two identical tiles) — 2 points.
• Pong (three identical tiles) — 6 points.
• Chi (three consecutive tiles of the same suit) — 6 points.
• Kang (four identical tiles) — 12 points.

Special Tiles

Dragons:

• Red Dragon — 8 points.
• Green Dragon — 8 points.
• White Dragon — 8 points.

Winds:

• East Wind — 4 points.
• South Wind — 4 points.
• West Wind — 4 points.
• North Wind — 4 points.

Additional Bonuses

Additional points for seasonal tiles (Flowers and Seasons):

• Flowers (each flower) — 4 points.
• Season (each season) — 4 points.

Mahjong (Complete Game):

• Mahjong (if the player completes the game) - 20 points.
• Closed Mahjong (the player collects all the tiles by himself without using discards) - 30 points.

Examples of combined points

If the player collected Pong from red dragons and Chi from bamboos, then his total score will be:

• 6 points (Pong) + 8 points (Red Dragon) + 6 points (Chi) = 20 points.
• If the player completes the game with Mahjong by collecting all his tiles by himself (closed mahjong) and adds the Season tile, then he will receive:
• 20 points (Mahjong) + 30 points (closed mahjong) + 4 points (Season) = 54 points.

Points for discard

• If a player takes a tile from another player’s discard pile to complete their combo, they can receive additional bonuses for “quick completion”:
• Bonus for completing via discard - 3 points.

Impact on rounds

• Completing a round: When a player completes a round, they receive additional points depending on how many tiles in their hand were unused.
• Every unused tile in their hand - minus 1 point.
